Frozen Fruit Kabobs

Have you every tried frozen grapes? They taste deliciously different than fresh ones! For a fun, transportable new take on your favorite fruits, try skewering and storing them in the freezer. You will spare fruit from going bad too quickly and fill your freezer with healthy options the next time you need a cool snack.

  1. Step 1

    Soak the grapes and strawberries in a water bath with 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar for 12 minutes. Pour out into a colander to drain and pat gently with a towel to remove excess water.

  2. Step 2

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 

  3. Step 3

    Insert skewer or toothpick into fruit pieces in desired order and place the loaded skewers/toothpicks on the sheet pan. Stick the pan into the freezer for at least 2 hours or overnight. Once frozen, store in an airtight bag in the freezer for up to 3 months. To consume, pull out a skewer and allow it to thaw slightly for 5-10 minutes. Enjoy!

Note

Feel free to try other fruits such as mango, blackberries, watermelon, and pineapple.
